Yeah, this doesn’t smell like the original to me. Kind of off. Feels a bit fake. Not what I expected.

I’ve had a really annoying time whenever I need to change the cartridges. It seems like it should be simple, but the app usually doesn’t recognize the new one right away, so I end up sitting there messing with it longer than I should have to. For the price of these cartridges, I expected the whole replacement process to feel smoother and more reliable. it’s been disappointing...

"Even the lowest setting feels too intense"
I really wanted to like this, but I wish there was a gentler option. Even on low, it feels way too strong for me, and the app settings don’t seem to make much of a difference. I kept adjusting things, hoping I was just missing something, but it still felt like I couldn’t get it to a comfortable level...

"Scent is way too weak"
I really wanted to like Pura, but the scent is just so faint?? I turned it up, tried different spots, even moved it into a smaller room, and I still could barely smell anything.
For the price, I was expecting it to at least make the room smell nice without having to stand right next to it. Isn’t that kind of the whole point?? The scent itself is fine when I’m close, but it doesn’t really carry at all.
Maybe I just picked weak scents or got unlucky, who knows?? But based on my experience, I probably wouldn’t buy it again. It just feels like I paid way too much for something I barely notice.
"WiFi was a bit frustrating"
It works fine most of the time, but... yeah, the WiFi does drop every now and then. Not a dealbreaker, just kind of annoying when it happens...

"Refund did arrive, but it felt dragged out"
I did eventually get my refund, so that part was fine, but it took longer than I expected. Support was polite enough, though it kind of felt like nothing really moved until I followed up. Not the worst experience, just slower than it probably needed to be.

"Should’ve Trusted My Gut on This One"
I bought two Pura devices, i’m disappointed. One of them stopped connecting after just a few weeks, and the other randomly shuts off and constantly needs to be reset. The app will say it’s online when it clearly isn’t, which gets frustrating fast. The scents themselves are nice, but my instinct kept telling me this device wasn’t as reliable as it should be for the price, and unfortunately that turned out to be right.
"Started off impressed, then… not so much"
At first I was like, wow, some of these scents actually smell really nice. Then a few minutes later I was kind of annoyed because a couple of them were super faint or faded way too fast. I don’t hate them or anything, but for the price I expected the fragrances to be a little more consistent.

"Not quite the scent variety I was hoping for"
I’m a little picky when it comes to scents, so I was expecting more options that felt unique or more my style. A lot of them smelled kind of similar to me, and several were sweeter than I usually go for. For the price, I just thought there would be a better range to choose from. It’s not terrible, but it didn’t really meet my personal standard.

"Warranty support turned into a headache"
My Pura started having issues after just a few months, so I figured the warranty would be straightforward. It really wasn’t. Support kept asking me for the same info over and over, and every reply felt like another hoop to jump through. Instead of feeling like they were trying to help, it felt like they were making it my problem. I got nowhere and was left feeling like they just didn’t want to replace it

"Setup was such a headache"
I spent way too long trying to get the Pura connected. The app kept freezing, and the WiFi would not pair no matter what I did. I reset it about five times before I finally just gave up. It was more hassle than it was worth.

"Scheduling is more frustrating than it should be"
I really wanted the scheduling to be simple, but it’s annoying. I’ll set it for specific times and then it still feels kind of random — not random exactly, but not reliable either. Changing the days is clunky too, and I feel like I’m always having to double-check the app for something that should just work.

"I ordered a couple of scents from Pura..."
I ordered a couple of scents from Pura and somehow the ones that showed up weren’t the ones I picked. I even went back and checked my confirmation because I thought maybe I messed up, but no… it was different from what came in the box. Customer support took forever to get back to me too, and the whole thing kind of felt like they were making it my issue. For what these cost, you’d think the order would at least be right. Just really frustrating, and honestly… I don’t think I’ll order again.

The Pura app is super frustrating to use. It freezes a lot, takes way too long to connect to my device, and half the time my schedule changes don’t even save. I really just wanted an easy way to turn the scent on and off, but it ends up feeling like such a hassle every time. Definitely not worth the headache.

Overall, the app works fine for basic stuff, and I can usually do what I need... but the scheduling can be weird sometimes! It’ll act like it saved things, then not run quite right. Not terrible, just a bit frustrating.

Most of my bills were charged correctly, but there was one that didn’t look right to me. I reached out to support and they did eventually explain it, but it took longer than I expected. Overall, it wasn’t a huge problem, just kind of frustrating when you’re hoping for a faster response.

I ordered it and then basically just sat around waiting. The tracking barely updated, which made it even more frustrating, and it ended up arriving way later than I expected. if you need it anytime soon, I wouldn’t count on it.

I tried to cancel my subscription twice, and somehow I still ended up getting charged again. Maybe I missed something, but from my experience, the whole process felt way more difficult than it needed to be. Frustrating, honestly.

"The subscription felt too locked in"
I really wanted to like pura because the whole idea sounded great at first. But then I got into the subscription part and immediately thought, okay… why is this harder than it needs to be? Changing things, pausing, skipping — none of it felt as simple or flexible as I expected. Once I had it set up, I kind of felt stuck, which is not what I want from a subscription. In my head, I’m like, if I’m paying for this regularly, I should be able to adjust it whenever without digging through settings or jumping through hoops. It just felt too rigid for me

"Diffuser barely worked after the first couple days"
I bought the Pura diffuser because I genuinely thought it would make my living room smell nice, and to be fair, the first day was fine. But after that, the scent got really weak, even when I had it turned up high, so it’s not like I wasn’t using it properly.
The app says it’s running, but half the time I can’t smell anything unless I’m basically standing right next to it. It also disconnects more often than it should, which is annoying because I shouldn’t have to keep messing with it just to get a diffuser to work.
For what this costs, I expected a lot better. I know some people might love theirs, but my experience has been disappointing, and it feels like I’m just paying for pods that sit there doing almost nothing. I wouldn’t buy another one.
